A great menu is a must for any wedding, at Balmule House we work closely with our catering partners, The Edinburgh Catering Company and St Andrews Catering, to deliver you menu options that cater for all tastes and budgets.

Depending on your theme we can create a dinner with the latest culinary trends but can also produce tasty traditional family favourites with equal skill.    We can also offer a bespoke menu service and we would be delighted to discuss these options with you.

SAMPLE WEDDING BREAKFAST MENU

To create your own wedding menu, please choose one starter, one main course and one dessert from the selection below.
If you would like to inter change some of the items, we can easily develop an alternative menu.

STARTERS

Rillettes of Goosenargh duck, with pistachio, apple and pickled celery.
Pumpkin and parmesan veloute, with toasted pumpkin seeds and fresh apple.v
Ballotine of Loch Duart salmon, with lobster dressing, red chard and cucumber salad.

 

MAIN DISHES

Fillet of seabass “en papillote” with jersey royals, spring veg, and a chervil and lemon butter.
Fillet of Scottish lamb with boulangere potato, carrot puree, roasted beetroot and rosemary lamb jus.
Crispy jerusalem artichoke terrine, with herb gnocchi, confit shallots, and nut and herb crumb.v

DESSERTS

Glazed lemon tart, with honey cream, toasted oats and raspberries.
White peach tart tatin, with cardamom pannacotta and yoghurt sorbet.
Dark & milk chocolate cremeux, with salted caramel, popcorn ice cream, and passion fruit curd.
